Episode 30-Happy New Year!

woohoo! it's 2007! went for countdown at esplanade last nite with gab, momo,sonia,welyon,qien and wenjie.

i went down at ard 2100+ to look for the sc pple. was suposed to be a sc outing but in the end onli like 5 turned up sia. lol~ actuali we got ourselves quite a gd seat one but it started drizzling and welyon they all decided that they should go hide in marina square 1st. den i went to meet up with momo and watched the 10pm pathetic short-lived fireworks on top of the ntuc building.

gab came at ard 10+ and we made a terrible choice to head towards citilink mall to meet up wif the sc pple. the underground pass is like choked lah. worst part is moving up/down the stairs and escalators. some poor people fell down and further jammed up the whole place lah. very dangerous sia.

we managed to get a good spot on the highway in front of fullerton. stood there for like 1 hr plus and caught the 11 and 1130 fireworks.

the 'countdown' was super lousy. well, actuali there wasnt any countdown at all. the stupig emcee said wad 'lets observe 1 min of silence and reflect on 2006 blah blah blah' and before u noe it, the 1st firework shot up into the sky and it was 2007 alreadi!

the fireworks were superb! it's like 8mins long and very very very nice! worth my 2 hrs of wait. too bad we were not close enough so couldnt reali see those on the water surface one.

after everyth ended, we walked to mohammad sultan area to take cab to momo's house. waited damn long oso. all the cabs were on call lah. it was onli later that we found out from the taxi driver that from 2007 onwards, there wont be anymore cab call charge. no wonder every1 call cab lah.

reached momo's house at ard 3+ i think. played ps and com b4 going to sleep at ard 4+ bah. damn tired. onli woke up todae at like 1130. lol~
